Havstjerne CO2 injection and storage project

Simu Engineers BV is teamed up with Carbon Circle AS (https://www.carboncircle.com/)

and successfully completed another multidisciplinary engineering contract with Stella Maris CCS. This four-month study included the design of post-combustion CO2 capture units and offshore infrastructure utilities for large-scale CO2 sequestration.

The Havstjerne project is a large-scale initiative to collect liquid CO2 from various locations across Europe, transport it to an offshore injection site, and inject it into a subsea reservoir.

The scope of SIMU includes structural and piping layout design for both fixed platform concept as well as a floating unit concept.
